Kitulo National Park

Situated in the Southern Highlands of Tanzania, Kitulo National Park covers an impressive area of 412.9 square kilometers. The national park boasts some of the most important montane grassland ecosystems in Africa. It is located between two mountain peaks, Portoto and Kipengere, and lies at an elevation of 2600 meters above sea level. The uniqueness of the park lies in the fact that it presents an extraordinary floral spectacle rather than a conventional wildlife-focused safari.

Kitulo is often referred to as the "Garden of God" by the Tanzanian locals and is also a botanist's paradise. The park's meadows, rich in wildflowers, orchids, and other flora, present a dazzling spectacle for nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts, making Kitulo a must-visit destination on Tanzania Safari Tours.
