Ruaha National Park

Spanning an impressive 12,226 square kilometers, Ruaha National Park claims the title of Tanzania's largest national park. The unspoiled nature of Ruaha is beautifully framed on its northern border by the Kizigio and Rungwa River Game Reserves. They together form a vast conservancy that extends over 26,500 square kilometers, making it one of East Africa's largest.

The centerpiece of this huge reserve is the mighty Ruaha River, famed for its deep canyons, fast-moving rapids, and prime fishing spots. Ruaha is also a haven for wildlife lovers, boasting impressive populations of more than 10,000 elephants, 30,000 buffalos, and 20,000 zebras.
