Begin your safari with a morning pickup from Moshi or Arusha, heading to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephants and towering baobabs. The park's open terrain is ideal for viewing elephants and migrating wildlife like wildebeest and zebra near its lagoons. Your day includes an afternoon game drive and a picnic lunch, followed by an overnight stay just outside the park.
On the second day, journey to the renowned Serengeti National Park, a wildlife paradise famous for the great wildebeest and zebra migration. The Serengeti's endless plains also host lions, cheetahs, leopards, and other predators. Your stay will be overnight in the Serengeti. The park is great to visit any time of the year, with December to July ideal for the migration, and June to October excellent for observing predators.
On Day 3, you'll leave the Serengeti and head towards the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning biodiversity and dense wildlife population. As you descend into the crater, you'll have the chance to spot a wide range of animals, including possibly the Big Five. After exploring this natural wonder, the journey continues to the serene surroundings of Lake Manyara for an overnight stay, offering a peaceful end to an exciting day of safari adventures.
On the fourth day, you'll explore Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic gem nestled at the base of the Rift Valley escarpment. Known for its diverse ecosystems, the park is home to the famous tree-climbing lions and large troops of baboons. An array of wildlife, including elephants, hippos, and colourful birdlife like flamingos, can be observed around the alkaline lake.
